About the fiber
Hemp is worked in its raw state, natural or delicately dyed. Handwoven by the artisan, it provides soothing comfort with its softness and silky texture. Hemp fibers are found in the stem, which is cultivated for length. They are extracted through an eco-friendly process called plant retting.
